Ok. I know about styleside flarside stepside. But what is fleetside? I am looking at some aftermarket stuff and it says it only works on fleetside. Anyone?

Fleetside is the standard bed, not a step side.

Okay. So is the fleetside like styleside and flareside collectively or is one of those the stepside also.

I think fleetside is the same as styleside

fleet, style, and standard are the same. flair and step are the same

Sounds like you have it squared away...

Not to make it anymore confusing, but Ford does have numbers for the body style... it's part of the VIN.
