P01443=Small or no purge flow condition.
Check your gas cap & make sure it's tight & it's gasket is good.
Check the vacuum lines at the vapor recovery tank to engine, for cracks, breaks, or loose connections, as the vintage of your ride would put those rubber hoses high on a suspect list.
Let us know what you find.

Hoses are fine. Filled the gas tank(ouch) and reset the code memory.
No return of code. I suspect with just keeping 1/4 or less of a tankful of gas is causing more fumes then normal?
