??check engine??
??check engine??
I recently hit a curb causing a bend to the left radius arm. Don't ask how/why I hit the curb, let's just say I avoided hitting a dog. Got the arm replaced but, ever since then I've had a check engine light come on. All the vitals are good and it still runs the same. Is there something that an impact would jolt to cause the light to come on? I did disconnect the battery to reset the computer but still get the light. Would prefer not to have to pay someone to read a code that may be insignificant and have tried the voltmeter method to utter brain twist. I'm simple.
Thanks for any suggestions

I asked Auto Zone a while back when I was having some problems and they told me they did not have a reader for the age of my pickup 1991. I ended up replacing fuel regulator, pump relay and EEC relay and one of those solved the problem. We have a new O'Reilleys in town so I'll give them a try.
Thanks
