I don't know much about plows other than I need one badly before the next winter. I have a driveway too large for my 8hp Snapper snowblower. The last winter storm, 2 feet of snow took me 5 hours to clear. I simply don't have the cash for new 3500 bucks or so, yikes. I found a local guy with a complete Myers setup that came off a 97, mine is a 93 f150. Will this fit and/or is there a mount I can just buy to fit my rig? I need to go and look at this like tomorrow so any help is appreciated. Thanks.
The plow should fit. The frames are different & you will need a different mount. F150's are usually not recomended for more then personal plowing. Try finding your mount here http://www.meyerproducts.com/plows101/mounts.asp
deffinlitly gonna be different. i would just not leave the plow on any longer that you have to, as it will sag your springs, and throw your aligntment off.
I called a local plow place that told me I would need a different mount and wiring harness and it would be like another grand. I think I'll be better off gettin a f250 out of the bargain news with a plow on it already and would still be cheaper than a new plow. They told me f150's are not supposed to have a plow because the front end is generally too light unless it's beefed up.

Buying an older truck that has a plow is a GREAT idea if you have a place you can park it for the year. Thats what I do, No license, no insureance, one tank of gas per year, change oil when I think of it or 5 years... (less then 50 miles) Treat it just like your snowblower.
My last plow truck lasted 18 yrs that way and did a LOT of other work around my property ( hauling trash, pulling stumps)
