Seats

What other style or type of bench seats will bolt into the 73079 F-150's? The one in mine is pretty rough and I thought about switching it out with one from a newer truck. Any one done this before?

Any bench seat up to 1996 will work. Another option would be having your original seat re-upholstered.

John should have added :

To retro fit newer seats (up to 1996 fit) in a 70's truck one must remove the seat from the track and install that first.

I have buckets from an 87 Bronco in front and front seats from a 99 F159 in the rear, pics in my gallery

Looks good. I like the captain seat in the front idea. What all did you have to do to install them, as far as the tracks go?

Just had my 78 bench seat re-upholstered .They actually found some original tan "weave" fabric. All for $250.
