FE ford back blocker plates is there a difference?

Do you mean the shim between the block and tranny? No changes I'm aware of. If I'm wrong about that someone will give the correct info. A bud bought one at the local machine shop/NAPA store (I think).

The block plates I've seen either have three holes in them around the cam plug hole or no holes. The plates with the holes are for the hyd lifter galley plugs. The plates without the holes are for a solid lifter block but holes can be drilled if needed to use on a hyd lifter block. i've only had 4 spds so I'm not postive if the C6 plates are different or not. I'm pretty sure they are the same tho....
