Electric DA......?

Just was wondering if there is such a thing. As of yet I don't have a compressor and I want to put a decent coat of paint on my truck. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

Yes,there are electric DA's,in a variety of styles and sizes. The only draw back is that they usually don't last that long under continuous use.I had one and burned it up trying to sand down a 16' trailor;however they are usually cheaper than air DA's,so if ya burn one up before ya get done, you could buy another one fairly cheap.I've seen them in the larger home improvement stores and department stores like Wal-mart.I believe Sears/Craftsman has some too.If the paint on your truck isn't rusty or peeling, you should be able to just wet sand it and prep for paint.I usually start with 320 grit water paper, then finish with 600 grit water paper.Just remember to keep the panels nice and wet and rinse the paper out often.Hope this helps.
