Pull the dash out, remove the doors and don't worry about any guages working... you'll be golden.
Just kidding, you said it was clean and I'll believe you.
Good luck, don't sell the ford for now.
All in jest. Isn't this the 67-72 forum?
Peace

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I decided to buy another case of beer instead.
Just kidding. I never even came close to buying a Mopar product in my life.
this brings me to a true Dodge story.
I used to hunt deer over near Tygh Valley Oregon in a little place called Wamic. A friend of mine's dad lived there on a 1200 acre farm on the White River Canyon. We used to take these two fairly obnoxious attorneys with us sort of as a payback as my friend and I worked for them so it was a gratuity thing.
This one attorney who never shut the heck up had this little Dodge pickup. Ram 50 or some darn thing. We'd be sitting in my friend's dad's farm house drinking and this obnoxious cuss would brag about his little truck night after night. My Dodge will do this, My Dodge will do that, My Dodge goes anywhere crap. Now my friends dad was about 77 or 78 or so at the time and a country guy who chose his words well and didn't waste a lot of them.
One night about 4 days into the trip this obnoxious attorney got that stupid little truck stuck in a pretty small drainage ditch outside the house. Lyle my friends dad walked outside and we hooked up a tow strap to the Dodge and pulled it out with Lyle's F350 4 x 4 diesel.
As we got the Dodge out of the ditch Lyle turns to the attorney and says "That Dodge of yours really does pretty well, as long as it has a Ford hooked up to her that is". And that was all he said and he walked back inside.
That was the last we heard about his darn Dodge.
True story.

i don't have a beef with 1967-72 dodges anyway. Their mid 60s line of trucks look pretty boss actually. Hemi 'Cudas n' Roadrunners, boy howdy.
People have gotten for worse about posting about their new Super Duty here...
about the 2.2l turbo motor mopars i doubt you'd find i'm the only one complaining. this motor's a jinx on the car and a curse on the owner. lol.
A good deal is a good deal.
I'm partial to Ford trucks always have been, always will be. But GM makes cars that will blow the doors off most Fords.
