53 Ford questions
I just got off the phone with my boss and his son in law want to get rid of an old 53 ford pickup he has in his yard and wants to know what to ask for it, any ideas????

If the rest of the body is fairly good, i.e. fenders are straight and solid, The hood is not rusted and the roof isn't dented in and it is a f100 and not an f250 or larger, then a good asking price might be in the $500-$1000 range. There are so many variables that it is hard to say. Has any other work been done to upgrade the drive train? In my book the cheby stuff detracts, but unfortunately, most rodders will go with the 350/350 cheby setup. It could be worth a little more if it is really straight, but that would be my guess. You might also do a search in the 47-60 forum.
