I plan on attending the supernats this coming year. And would do my best to get this event also. Don't know if my truck will be done by then, but will find some way to get there. But it all depends on location.
When we decide to do this thing, I'll be having my friend (without internet, so not a member of FTE) follow me down there, in case my truck leaves me stranded. I was just wondering if I should have him bring his '70 F-100; F-150, not sure what it was in '70, or if he should just bring his car.
Hello Ken,
My idea is like many others, multipul meets, how about 1 for each time zone? I would love to atend butt driving to the west cost is a little far, there is no way I would trailer my FORD,a FORD does NOT belong on a trailer it belongs on the road, butt not dead on the road. My "warthog" has 520,000 miles on it, I have no dout she could make the trip but why push my luck?
I think one in each time zone would be great and then have 1 BIG run @ the end of the year. What do you think Mr Payne?
I would love to have my "wart hog"in a run and not watching for once.If you think this is good let us know please.
Thank you for a GREAT web site.

Hey Ken; I don't know if you read my other post, but I'd like to clarify a little. In reguards to the several small meets; I think that we ought to have several meeting-places, where people who plan on going, from the same area, can meet, then all drive down together. That way we have some assurance that someone will help if someone (Myself in particular :-)) breaks down... Also we (I; again) wouldn't get lost on the way (probably), and We could may be set it up so several of us stay in the same hotel, so we're not all lost looking for something to do...
As for location- I think we should hold the meet somewhere between Utah and Calif...I don't think it should be all they way on the coast, then Everyone has to drive a ways, but somewhere between Utah and Calif.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, stirs the soul, saying I'm a bad **** like lettin'em rip with a window shaking, fuel gulpin, carbon monoxide belchin, attention gettin, V-oh my LORD!-8!
I would like to see one in Moab, Ut. There many different off road trails from mild to stupid and a lot of other outdoor options such as rafting, swimming, biking ect. The local newspaper once ran a series of pics on the front page of a Blazer going end over end while trying to drive down a steep hill just outside of Moab. Fortunatly there were only minor bumps and bruises and of course one less chevy.
Ken,
I would like some information on the Pigeon Forge meet... I recently purchased a '71 F-100 all original with 52k miles... for a wopping $1300.00.. I have some work to accomplish on it, but if we can bring our trucks the way they are (after I rebuild the carb, to get a little better gas mileage) I would to get some hotel and any information that you have regarding the meet.
How about Layton, Ut.? Right between Salt Lake and Ogden, rural, and I know of several really big parking lots right near me...There's a local burger place that hosts car shows once a month during the summer, and they might sponsor a large show, or offer discounts, or the use of their parking lot or something..?
It's a family owned operation, so it would be easy to talk them into something.
I hope you're reading all this Ken :-)
