AC quit working INSTANTLY
My wife was driving her mother's 2004 F150 Lariat. The AC had been working fine.
All of a sudden it shut off by itself. She waited, and then turned it back on. Now she says it blows out hot air.
Any ideas?

Pray to god its not the blend door. Thats what my 98 f-150 did and it was that and they told me $1600. Hopefully its not that i hope they redesigned that on the newer models.

Tomorrow when I get a chance, I'll feel the metal AC line. I've never even looked under the hood of the newer model 150's.
So I hope FEELING the metal AC line is possible
If it's ICE cold, then it could be the blend door as you mentioned.
I gotta check the whole situation out tomorrow. They haven't even arrived home yet today.

There are 2 metal (aluminum) lines. The smaller line is the low pressure side and will be the cold line.
