I I talked with Mrs. Wilkerson at *8:00 pm EDT. John had a 5 way by-pass reconstruction. He is resting comfortably. The medical team is pleased. John is "out of it" for now, but all seems good.
They revived hom temporarily to "check him out" & be certain he was in good shape all the way around, then retired him for the evening. He's now resting comfortably.
He's in the cardiac ward @ Hospital at Duke University, Raliegh NC. He's in Good Hands there.
Just thought y'all might like to know how he's doing. GO John We're with ya!

Great news; hope for a speedy recovery, to bad we all can't crash in to Duke for a surprise visit; but the e-net is the next great thing.. Hang tough John; and get well; the site needs your expertise, FBp & Banjopicker66 can't handle all that typing. LOL.
Thanks for keeping us posted,Pete.Tell him the boards just aren't the same without him, and we've even had a few bow tie bozo's trying to sneek in!We're all rootin' for him and looking forward to a fast recovery.
"Keep them old Fords(and John's)rollin'!"
