air bag light on help please
i have a 2001 ranger ex cab.,4x4. 4.0,auto. i have two sets of tires and rims. when i run my goodyear mtrs for about 50/75 miles my air bag light will come on.(the tires are rough riding) will the air bag pop out? when i run the street tires it will go off after about 50 miles or so. do you think there is a loose wire? i have 1 more ? when i get on the gas hard in the mud or grass when i let off the gas the motor will die. has this hapened to any one else?
p.s. is there a fuel reset button on these trucks? thanks

I think I remember reading threads about a loose connector underneath the drivers seat. I guess that that could shake loose. Usually, when the light is on, it will blink the code when you first start up (of course assuming the condition is still there when you start up since it isn't rattling around when you are stopped). I think that particular loose connection is usually associated with a code 46, Driver pretensioner resistance high/low. Usually just loose/dirty contacts on the connector. You may be shaking others though.

A quick google and forum search seemed to turn up that the 37 is related to the passenger side airbag or seat sensor. I haven't found a definite yet. Maybe someone here will pipe up now that you know the code.
