My new 2006 van with a single CD stock radio has speed volume. The owners manual does not talk about it. I have changed the settings both ways and it does not seam to do anything. I know how it should work because I have it in other cars. Do other van owners have this? and does theirs work? Is this one of those options on the radio that are not used on vans?
Our '97 Olds Silly minivan has this, and it has an easy to understand and use adjustment so you can vary the volume increase or eliminate it if you like. (one of the many things about this fine jewel that no one seemed to notice, and so, no more Olds, but that's a different story)
'04 Audi A4, has this feature, but no adjustment that I can see, and I don't recall seeing anything about it in the book, but I didn't go looking.
Sounds like Ford has given you the basic feature. Can you punch "mode" or "audio" or any other adjustment button and see any reference to it?
