Is this like laundering money?
My wife told me that if she sees one more charge on our credit cards for anything related to my truck (other than gas) she's going to divorce me. (and there's a little truth in every sarcasm)
So I had my friend order the parts for me and I gave him cash. It's kind of like laundering money, don't you think? Especially when he asked for the key to my garage to he can deliver the parts when we're not home.
Feeling a little guilty.

You guys are a riot. I will have been married 10 years in November don't give me ideas otherwise. Fatfenders that is true cause finding a good straight rust free hood for a 53-56 has been hard.
Jgurland check the trunk of her daily driver. Here is a good one I found out about any packages you see around the house check the address. My wife has had stuff delivered to the bank she works at. Her excuse is she did not want it to sit on the porch all day even though I don't leave home for work until 2:00 cause I work 2nd shift. Don't feel guilty you work so you should enjoy life.

My wife and I own our own business and she is the bookeeper for it and our personal finances as well. I have to stash away cash here and there to buy her Xmas gift or order after the Dec billing date on the CC so she doesn't see the bill before the 25th.
The fortunate thing is she's as big a gear head as I am, never complains about purchases for the truck or race cars. She bought Gracie and paid for our garage out of her small inheritance from her parent's estate. How many other wives ASK for a set of race tires for their birthday every year??? She's a good one and I think I'll keep her!

Ax,
I gotta confuse mine is a keeper too. She always wants us to schedule vacation around the Fall Charlotte Autofair and Swapmeet so that I can go. Although I think part of that desire maybe that she can drop me off in the morning at the Speedway for the swap meet and go back over to the Concord Mills mall and stay all day and buy whatever and I not care because of two reasons:
1. I may do the same thing, buy whatever at the swapmeet.
2. I won't complain about how long she was gone shopping

A couple weeks ago I took mine to the scrap yard for the first time to help me load up a SS counter top I wanted for a work bench top. The other day I was going back to buy some more metal, she says " that was a really cool place, I could spend hours just wandering around looking at all the stuff they have there..."
