gear questions?
I am ordering gears ASAP. I need answers though. Going with 4.88's for the D50 and the 10.5 Sterling. I got a set of 10.25 4.88 from a member but I thought I saw that you must run a 10.5 master install kit? Any other must have's that the kit does not include? I am going with Yukon gears.
I have 36" Iroks and my current gears are OEM 4.30's

You don't "NEED" a master install kit, but it is a good idea to replace all that stuff when you do the gears, otherwise you may have to go in and replace a worn bearing or seal later on; that's just a hassle.
You could get away with a lesser install kit, but for piece of mind, I would do the master kit.
4.88's will be perfect with the V10 and 36's. I'm still kicking myself for thinking they would be too deep.
