well well well,
i was driving home today and nailed some guy. he was turing onto the road i was driving on{he was crossing over my lane going the other way} and pulled out in front of me. i locked them up and slid right into the drivers side of his car.
ahh man, i was goign 35-40 and it looked like he was stoped and then he pulled out a little bit and kinda looked like he was gunna stop again. so i took my foot off the gas and covered my brake pedal and kinda swerved to the left a bit cuz i thought he was gunna stop and he was out in my lane a bit. but he fricken gave it the gas and a locked them up and smashed him and pushed him like 50 feet. i blew out all of htis windows and pretty much bent his car in half. and some how he ended up by my door and dented up my door. i shut off my truck and crawed out my window and onto his hood of his car. and went over to see if he was stil alive, thank god he was. i thought he was a going to be really badly hurt or dead. i asked if he was ok he moaned ya i think. so then i ran over to a car that seen him pull out in front of me and asked if they could stay there and call the cops. they did and i went and looked at the front of my truck, it was a lot better then i thought it was gunna be. my hood was dented a bit but i think i can bend it back, my bumper is shot all bent to heck, both lights and grill are gone and my door is messed up. and no bends to the frame as far as i can see no holes in the radiator or anything. i drove my truck home! but as far as the guys car... the car is pretty much bent in half, the back wheel came off, no windows left, and he is very lucky to be alive. ill see if i can post some pics of the accident. can i do this or is it iilegal???
so guys watch other ppls reactions and dont assume there gunna do what it looks like there gunna do. be safe.

What can you do?

You would think if someone saw a truck as big as the trucks we drive, they would drive with a little caution. Just shows you the mentality of some of the drivers on the road. Was youre seatbelt on? I neglect that quite often, thinking I won't get into an accident, like most people do. It's just a matter of time until it's youre number's up. Glad to hear nobody was seriously hurt, and too bad about damage to youre truck. jcab

So who got the ticket? From your description it's his fault, unless it was like a 20mph zone you were doing 35-40 in.

His insurance company gets to fix you up good as new then.

Be interesting to see some daylight pics. Doesn't look like all that much damage in the dark. Gotta love the toughness of these trucks.

That sucks brother. Sorry to hear that. But it sounds like some new paint and stuff for your ride at someone else's expense.

Man, I'll tell you what. I just made a trip up to Philly this past weekend and the people up there don't care if you are driving a freakin' semi. They will pull out in front of you . I had my lights on and have daytime runners in the front spoiler so they can't tell me that they can't see ya comin'. It sounds to me like this guy just panicked . A lot of people think that because you have a big truck or duel wheels that you are slow. They don't realize how much power these trucks have. Well, sorry to hear about your ride. Good luck with the rehab.

You need to request OEM parts, and make sure they put a front end alignment in the estimate. You can fix it as good as new with some new parts.

Continually seeing the way these trucks come out in an accident makes me feel a whole lot safer everytime I stick my family in there and hit the road.
