Problem with 99' Ranger
Hello there. I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I have a 99 Ranger 2WD V6 that has a rattling/popping noise coming from the front end every time I slow real down, or hit the brakes. It happens when I slowly accelerate as well, but does not occur when I give it a little bit more gas. You can kind of feel the steering wheel column shimmy a little bit.
Anyone have this problem before? Been driving me mad trying to figure out what it is and try to fix it.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Does it also happen during some slow and highspeed turns?.. I had a similar noise after having a pair of Monroe Sensatracs (shocks) put on the front of my ol' '99 Ranger and the technician either forgot the hardware or didn't tighten all of it.
It probably would of have gone on for a few more days jus' fine if I didn't jump any curbs or ditches. But I did mange to locate the issue after about 15mins of driving and stopping in a store parking-lot to inspect. ...It was fixed later that day....
