Great question Kwik. We can make better than that just in the kitchen. Takes 72 hours to make a gallon of B100 using WVO. In my 37 gal. tank that is 1 gal. B100 into 36 gal. of dino diesel should equal.........ta da! B2.7027 (I think.)
It's late, I know......stop thinking and go to bed Kevin.....
At what service station did you find the B1? I haven't been able to find any in Sask yet. I see from your profile that you are from Manitoba so maybe it is coming this way.
We got it in Vancouver, I have seen B5,B10,B20. It has been kept a few cents a litre cheaper than regular diesel as well.
Nobody here in the states can seem to figure that out. BioD is always more expensive than DinoD. How on earth can we get more folks on the bandwagon if there isn't some sort of price advantage as well?
Found a place here in Iowa that sells B20, it's 3cents a gallon cheaper, it's on the list of approved fuel stops for the company I drive for, and the bio diesel pumps are FULL SERVICE, now if that isn't enough incentive for people to try it, I don't know what is.
i filled up on my way home from working in alberta, and its a gas station right on highway 16 on the southern corner of the correction line. Its called "24/7" or something like that. I cant remember where it was exactly, but it was between
if i remember correctly, the 1% bio was the same $ as the stragiht dino.
saskatoon and yorkton. I also drove past a biodiesel supply store but its never open when i drive by. (Whats the problem, its 2:30 am and there closed????)
Its catching on and will soon be available everywhere!
With all the tax incentives and subsidies now available from our slow as hell governments biodiesel should now be a bit cheaper. I saw a Colorado company that offered internet sales of B99 for $2.05. Today, near downtown Houston, Houston Biodiesel opened a new location selling B99 for $2.59 which is .10-.20/gal cheaper than petrol. It is quite possible to produce your own fuel in the back yard for next to nothing. There are now 5 large biodiesel producers on line in Houston, Tx. and another very large plant is being constructed in Galveston with Chevron a majority owner. Right now I've noticed (I work at the Port) that we are loading it all on ships and sending it to Europe where it sells for considerably more per gallon - maybe twice - therefore making it difficult for those hereabouts to find it retail. It should immediately be legislated that Bio for export does not qualify for the tax breaks. I am very surprised that Canada does not have a lot available retail with all the land available and the envirnmental conciousness of the populace.

Any chance you can PM me the link for this company? Most places here are out of BioD right now... I'm looking to buy until I can setup my processer.....Thanks PSDLOVER!
