I am looking for a new, rebuilt or used fuel pump for my 61 Econoline pick up. I have the 170 c.i. engine. The fuel pump in it now appears to be an AC unit that could be rebuilt if a kit can be had.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could get any of these? I have tried NAPA and Mac's but they do not seem to have anything for this model and year combo.
Thanks for the quick reply, I'll call NAPA and Ford in the a.m. Just out of curiosity, these pumps will clear the linkage from the tranny and they "handle" will go into the block without problems? The reason I am asking is that I tried a pump for a 64 and it was bigger (had a filter on the bottom) and did not go into the block. I bought this pump at a local NAPA store (item M4004).
