First off: I have an '88 F350 Diesel, and it's my first truck ever. The previous owner told me there was an allen head bolt used to bleed the clutch, but i can't find it. No, he's not full of crap because the 1st time I went to pick it up, the master cylinder failed completely. We replaced that, and when we went to bleed it, the only tool he took under the truck was an allen key. So my question is...
WHERE IS THIS DARN BLEED SCREW???
I *think* I have an external slave cylinder, and I can't find the *normal* bleed screw on it anywhere - *normal* meaning like what I'm used to seeing on brake systems.
I have a Bronco II but I would trace the hydraulic line down, it should be near it. Mine was protruding from the slave cylinder at the bell housing, like a bolt head. I used a box wrench and my lovely wife on the pedal, to bleed it. Good luck.
