Anyone have any experience with Haneline Products? I'm considering ordering a custom engine turned gauge panel for my '69 from them. They've quoted me a little under $600 for a complete bolt-in panel to replace my beat-up stock cluster. It includes turn signal and high beam indicators, and a full complement of lighted white-face gauges (speedo with trip odo, 7000 rpm tach, fuel, volts, water temp, oil press). I really like it, but it's a lot of money and I have no experience with them. In anyone else does, good or bad, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
You can see their custom gauge panels (for all sorts of classic cars and trucks) and gauge packages at http://www.hanelineproducts.com
I bought a haneline dash for my '69 f250 just the other week. I have not installed the system yet. Just put it together. Looks good. The abs plastic piece could be a little bit more stout. But once its installed that shouldn't be a problem, but it does concern me. Especially with the price I paid.
I got the turned Stainless Steel plate also. This is a separate flat piece that has holes arranged the same as the ABS plastic piece. Pricing the instruments alone is about 75% of the cost.
I was expecting something a bit heavier duty. I believe in over enginering
No information as to the reliability. That is a factor for the instrument MFGR
If could have built something similiar on my own. It would have been sturdier.
