Rusted Busted 56
Dragged home a 56. Not sure what I'm going to with it. 
I orginally thought I would swap the cab with my other 56. We'll see. Anyway this post is useless without pictures so I created (I think I did) my first profile gallery. Check it out.

Now I must fix the wiring harnes on the trailer I borrowed to move it. It came unplugged and drugged on the pavement 
Just the first in a series of misfortune I sure the truck will bring

You need to see some of the stuff that we who live in the rust belt start with and you wouild think thats a pretty nice truck you have to start with.

it looks like its been up and down a couple of those clay roads you have back there. i spent a handful of years growing up as a child in warner robins. my father was stationed there in the early seventies. we used to cruise the clay roads looking for fishing holes. seeing that picture of your truck next to that brick house gives me goosebumps.

Long bed is 118" wheel base.. looks like you've got yourself a long-bed frame 
If you're planning on parting it out, you should be able to sell that frame pretty easily, they are rare unmolested.. :P

Other than being a little longer than a short bed frame is there any differance in the long bed frame? If I decide to keep it I would most likely shorten it but if someone out there just has to have it then plans may change.

Must be something wrong with my monitor because your offer was missing additional zero's I'm getting ready to squirt the bolts to the passenger side fender/inner fender so I can remove it to see the VIN.
