It seems it's time for a new windshield, because of the nice crack in it. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with any of those companies [ex. Glass Doctor] that come to your home and replace the glass. I'm sure that collectively, they've all been used by someone here. I've never had to do this, so I'm looking for recommendations and opinions on quality of work, quality of materials, what to expect as far as a warranty. As always, thanks for the help!
After my truck was broken into we had one of those companies (I forgot the name, sorry) come and replace my busted out window.
They did a great job, looked perfect when they were done. There were some shavings left on the door (just rubbed a rag over the door once and they came off). The only thing that they didn't do was tint it, but only because we told them not to as the whole vehicle needed to be retinted.
I give it a 9/10, not bad on the price at all, it'd be a perfect 10 if they had just cleaned the door up.
I have used the above mention companies. I have had to windshields replaced on the 02 Ranger I use to own, each time they would come to the house remove and install the new windshield. I also used a coupon that was $100.00 off which covered my deductable. This is all warranted. i found it to be a good deal, quality windshield.
