Question Wiring harness question

I have an 86 F-350, 6.9, manual tranny with a/c. The wiring harness has been patched to death, and the fuse box has places where it has melted from overloads. I have found another truck, that is the same, but doesn't have a/c. My question is, with that wiring harness have all of the connections needed to plug my a/c wires into? Will the fuse box be set up for it, too?

I think it will work, as long as both trucks were a 6.9L and the same year. The new harness may not have all the AC harness on it, however Ford is really good about any addional harnesses will have a main plug that you can had you existing harness on to. For example, there is a plug in your driver cab corner to add a cargo light, and a nother under the dash to ad a CB.

Good luck,
Chuck

Yeah, I dissected my old harness and the a/c wires are plugged into the main harness. I traced them back, and one goes to the "blower motor" fuse in the fuse box and the other goes out to the blower. So hopefully it will just plug into the heater connectors on the donor harness.
