What I'm saying Lonnie is that ford used the same wire coding for many years in different vehicles.
Like Blue/red wire is instrumentation lighting for at least 30 different models.
My assumption of Trucks & Vans having the same wiring harness except with variations for additions or subtractions depending on what options a vehicle had.
ie: Tilt Wheel,Cruise control,Courtesy lights,etc.
I could be wrong though.
I figured that what they used in a Van would be relatively the same as a Truck of the same year.
What colour and how many wires is coming out of that connector?
That would help.

I was hoping to here Lonnie's reply to how many wires and what colors are coming from the steering column.
I am in the process of rewiring my 69 f250, I have 7 wires coming out of the column. I had assumed I would see six. Two for the horn Two for left blinker and two for right. I dont have a manual or schematic. Doing some continuity check has resulted in some strange readings. Such as closed circuit when the blinker is centered and open when its either left or right. Again I assume this has to do with the US version of lighting rather than international. That is, when lights are on the blinker realy turns off the lightds.
Man I could use a schematic. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Hi Dennis, yeah I'm just waiting for my package so I can try those new tail lights on... hey I just put on a smaller steering wheel and I noticed that the steering colum has free paly in it. Seems like there should be a bushing or something .... I can move the wheel hmmm maybe a1/4 od an inch up and down...it's not the sleeves but the steering it's self... do I have a problem? Also when I put this wheel on the cam for the signal cancell wouldn't fit on the new housing of the new wheel.... ever heard of a fix for that?
Man I'm getting sooooooooooo confused. The 72 steering col I got from a friend has two wireing blocks. I just looked under my dash and I see one close to the brake peddle and the wires coming from the hole in the col are just wired someplace under the dash and look like they go straight to close to the flight switch. Wonder if someone already
hot wired this??? Geesh one thing or another!!!
