I was on a trip and my cruise control went out and shortly after ther SES light came on and engine felt like it lost a injector or 2. Then the light went out and truck ran fine the rest of the trip but the CC didn't work. The next day same thing but SES styed on longer. Took it to a mech. and they found code1316(IDM-injector circuit codes detected). The mech. told me it would need to go to a dealership for further testing. I've talked to 2 diffrent dealers. One sayed it sounds like the wiring harnesses and one says its the IDM. Any help with problem would be a great help.

My bet would be on the wiring harness. Pop off the valve covers and check it out. Probably have a faulty connection.

Try looking at where the IDM harness comes out of the drivers fenderwell and over to the engine. This harness has a tendency to rub on the top of the valve cover and actually start to short out.
