I was getting my paint mixed for my 1977 ranger, and the guy mentioned a sprayable bedliner that was tintable. He said you can get pretty close to some colors of OEM finishes. He said you use a $20 gun that they provide.
He said it was a urethane.
He was busy mixing paint for other people and I couldnt ask him more about it.
Well, I am using a light blue base for my truck. Is that possible? Is there a white based SEM bedliner, that I could add some of my paint to? Are they ureathane based?
Thanks for info. Where can I look at some online?
There are a couple of pictures of my current project at the link below. It is a medium blue color with lots of metalflake & when the truck is in the sunlight, the flake shows up in the bedliner quite well. In case I did not mention, they make both a regular & a tintable version, be sure to get the right one.
Yeah, I found the tintable kind. Eastwoodco has a 10% off promotion right now. I can get the complete kit with gun tintable for $170. Not bad!!
Thanks for the info, and nice job BTW
