Exclamation Tranny Question

I have a bolt in my Tranny that wont tighten up. How can i fix this. or should i take it some where. my dad said i should use Heli coil(i think thats what he said). is this stuff easy to use? I have a AOD with a borg warner 1356 electric hift. PLease help

sorry it is one of the pan bolts. it turns up but doesnt get tight. i dont think i over turned it since i cant

I would use the heli coil. It is a special tap, installer, and coils. you have to go to the parts store to get one. I use thread locker to get a even better hold on the coil. They are simle to use, but make sure you use the right size drill bit. Over drilling is aweful. Good luck.
