2006 With 7.3

http://www.ford.com.au/requests/quote.asp?vehicle=23
It's not surprising that you can still get a 7.3..... just not in the US. In Austrailia you can even get a snorkel and a real bumper from the factory!!

Yea, we knew that over on the 7.3 forum, but we also know that we can't buy one.

Actually, I wish I lived in Oz. I'd buy a new truck once in a while instead of keeping mine running for a half-million or so (hopefully). ;-)))

I echo the sentiments of the "hookman"......$65,950......is that Australian dollars?....which is "what" in U.S. dollars?........Anyway, it'd be sweet to purchase a brand new 7.3L diesel......

i dont know about the import laws from other countries. but from state to state it works like this: my girlfriend is a jeep girl and she really wants a liberty (i know there girly) but its the only jeep offered with a diesel. but unfortunatlly for us they are not availible in CA. so, looking into it we found we could legally register one once it has 5000 or more miles on it. dont know why. i guess it proves that u didnt just go buy it in nevada and drive it home!
keep it ford

The bumper looks similar to a ranchhand.

With a 7.3 under the hood and that bumper, I think you would need an add-a-leaf for sure. Looking at some of the photos of the options, I noticed the truck has the old style superduty grille. Interesting.

It does appear to be the 99-04 body style, with a right hand steering setup. They're also limited to certain combinations. For example, you can't seem to get a 4x4 XLT Supercab with a 6spd. Oh well... there isn't a v10 option over there either.

Really like the heavy duty bumper...WOW! Oh-ya...that snorkel is wicked too. I suppose the Aussie's have more severe weather than we USA folks.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the "out the door" price on the F250 is quite a bit higher than the $65k. TAXES. Last time I checked you needed about $85K, although FORD could be doing some deals. Heck, the Jeep Grand whatchmacallit is over $65K.

Its not the weather, its the lack of paved roads. The majority of country roads are dirt. Which is also why the HD bumpers etc - wildlife !!!
