lighted electric window buttons

lighted electric window buttons
My 93 F150 has electric windows. the other day I had to use a buddys explorer
"Not user what model" but I noticed the power window buttons seem to be the same as my 93. except his were lighted...where mine are not.
Wondering if I replace the entire switch would mine now be lighted ?
has anyone noticed this ?
