The compression is up. I am not jumpin for joy yet, but breathing a little better.
I still got one piston under fifty but each time it comes up a little.
The motor has enough power to start in secound, and in a test it started in third, I know that's a rough test but it got me a little more confident. I've taken her into the fields and climbed any hill I found. It won't be doing anything amazing in power terms but it has enough for me.
The timing is still a bit late I was going to fix that, but our timing gun went out.
One thing weird every time you start it you must pump twice and pull the choke. Regadless if it hasn't ran for days, or if it ran 4 secounds earlier, any different it won't go. (I've tried by trial & error)

Funny. The 352 in my Galaxie is the same way. You have to pump it 5 times, turn the key and it will start then immediately die. You must then pump it once and turn the key. She roars to life, and runs awesome. This is regardless of whether it has just been run or not-same procedure every time.
Cool. They have amazing low-end power. And they're loud. I really don't mind my 352. When it's time for a rebuild, I may not keep her-just because they are pretty heavy. A 302 or a 351W would move my Galaxie just fine. But in a truck where weight isn't so much an issue-the 352 would stay.
Thanks man, your Mustang is a killer ride! Is that "Indian Fire Red" ?? I like that dark shade.
No, it`s the orginal Candy Apple Red this Mustang was born with. My 69 F100, the 71 F350 and the 83 5.0 convertible are all in this, my favorite colour.
My International brake master cylinder gave out. I'm thinking but fearing liscencing my 67 with the 352. It still starts rough and the brakes are sketchy. I think I should, I think I can.
