I know where an F250 bed can be found. Unfortunately, it has been grafted to a '52 (F2?). However, if you know someone that wants a '52 (that probably isn't all stock), maybe you could talk him into buying the truck and letting you have the bed. The truck has been customized somewhat, but I think it's an unfinished work. I drive past it every day in Avon, Kentucky, but I've never stopped to ask about it.

Wouldn't it be dangerous to work on a car if you don't have good vision?

Yes, the totally sightless children don't participate in "vocational" activities. These include wood-working, computer repair, chair-caning, and the auto bay. Many of our students have some congenital condition(albinism, macular degeneration, etc.) that could lead to blindness later in life, although they are not sightless now. Also, with the advances in medicine and micro-surgery, some students come to ASB blind, but operations give them limited to pretty fair vision that allows them to participate in activities never thought possible, such as driving!
I have found that nobody on earth can prep a rusty piece of truck metal better than a vision impaired kid. They do it all by feel!

Happy Memorial Day
