4x4 Hubs???

4x4 Hubs???
Well for some odd reason my left front hub has eaten itself....lots of little pieces cant understand what would cause this since I dont wheel or abuse this truck. I only use 4 wheel once in a while in the winter when the goin gets real bad. Just plain old manual hubs no vacume BS. Anyone have any idea what would cause this??

I would say either corrosion, or a bad wheel bearing throwing your spindle out of wack, and tearing up the hub. However, if it was this bad I would think you would be hearing some metal grinding by now!

I have a real aversion to reinstalling broken things back onto things that are still good. I recommend removing whatever might fall off and ruin the bearings. Use the hub cover as a protective cap and have a 2 wheel drive until you get the new hubs in. Or just park it.
