disc/steering conversion question
'69 Ranger getting front suspension/brakes from a 75 f-150. does the steering components, steering gear, etc work on the 69 from the 75 or does it need to stay 69 steering stuff?

If you want to keep the steering setup on the 69, then the tie rod ends just plug straight into the 75 knuckles. Otherwise, you can swap over the power steering from the 75, but you'll need a power steering column and possibly a different motor mount.

When I swapped the front running gear and steering gear out of a 78 f350 into my 67 F100 everything was a direct bolt on. I swapped the 78 master cylinder and booster at the same time. I love the stopping power of the F350 dual cylinder calibers. It seems like the hardest part was wiring in the new column as some of the the wire colors were different and my wiring was previously butchered.
I ended up swapping in a Dana60 into the rear shortly after to get the 8 bolt pattern all the way around.
