How wide is the frame on and 1971 f100? thanks for your help

Frame width ?

It conformed to the SAE 34” frame width standard of that time.

Post Frame width ?

thanks i was reading in different post people were saying theirs were 27-29 inches, had me wondering.

Frame width ?

The 34" is the outside (actual measure ~33-34"). Those saying 27" are probably referring to the inside dimension (the open area between the frame rails) : 33"-6" (~3" for each side).
