is it possible to use 73-79 rear leafs in my 69????I know the
69 has 2.5" and the 70's had 3"??? If i change the mounts will
it work???Has anyone tried this?

So the later 70's had longer springs then in 69??? Will
i be drilling the frame????

Joe I have a pair off a 78 that I parted out, but I don't have a 69 to compare to. Just seems that I had read here, that they were longer.

thanks, i tried to search for the info on this swap and came up
empty, does that have to do with the forums spliting???
Also John do you know the length and with of your springs??

I'll have to first remember to do it, and go over to my shop and measure it. I'm past 50 and am having senior moments, where my forgetter works better than my rememberior.
