i just changed the fluid in my trans.i used royal purple synchroma
6 quarts)seems to shift a little better. while i was at it i put in a bd short shifter .the shifter sure made it more enjoyable to drive .

Ford says to change the fluid at 50k.Thats when I changed mine.The old fluid looked new,but I changed it anyway.My truck is 4wd ,so I changed the tranfer case fluid also. I'm glad I did because the fluid in the transfer case looked worse than the fluid in the tranny.Use the same fluid in the transfer case (2 quarts).

and while im here .........
power tuners what do we like bang for buck i like or need to at the very least pull the occaisonal stump and pull of war with a hemi here and there ( those gasser will never learn )
