Exhaust leaks !?!@?!
93 Aerostar sport 3.0 automatic:
Found my exhaust leak, short pipe between Left manifold and engine pipe. Gasket blown out and flange rotted off. No problem, fixed that, got it warmed up on the hoist and heard something else leaking . Rear exhaust runner on Right side leaking between manifold and head. I can't even see any heads left on the bolts.
Has anyone here done this repair, It looks to me like I'll have to cut off what's left of the bolt heads and pull off the manifold, then remove the remaining studs. Any Ideas would help. Thanks in advance!!

Sorry, I don't have a 3.0, mine is a 4.0 and I have done this on it. I did mine from under the van, bolts came right out. DO NOT reuse the bolts, they are a one use only. I don't know the differance between the 3.0 and 4.0 manifolds.
