Paddle mirror removal--- IT Wont come off
I'm trying to swap my mirrors, I removed the door panel
removed the 4 nuts holding the mirror on, but it wont budge, I put some force into it and was suprised I didnt snap it off, Am I missing anything?

If you look There one bolt hole on you'r door that looks like a mirror bolt mount but it is for holding on the window frame felt molding for the window track.
The 4 th bolt hole is under a some black tape When I changed mine mirror out to the bigger mirrors this got me at first.

Jake, where did you end up gettin' your 'tow mirrors' from? I'm thinkin' about swappin' mine out too.

got em from Ebay, I'll find a link,
I still cant get my mirrors off. I removed 2 nuts from under the rubber grommets, 1 from under the tape and one was exposed, Is there another under the tape?

Hold the new mirror up by the door and line it up to see if you removed the correct nuts. Yes on mine there was two nuts under tape. The upper and lower rear ones if I remember. Once you have the correct nuts removed it should just fall off. You should not be removing any bolts, just nuts.
