My book shows the "Y" code to be a 360. But,... keep in mind were talking about a 30+ year ole truck. The engine may have been swapped 3 times by now. The only sure way is for you to pull a spark plug and insert a dowl or a stiff piece of wire into the cylinder. Turn the engine over by hand using a pull bar and socket on the crank shaft bolt. Mark the dowl or wire with the highest and lowest points. This is the stroke length. If the length is 3.5 inches you have a 352 or 360. If it's 3.78 inches it's most likely a 390. Also on the block look for a casting number and a date code. Casting number will look something like "C8TE-A" and a date code like "8A15". Look for the date code under where the oil filter is.
As for parts go to http://www.longmotor.com/ and order a free catalog. Hope this helps.
