hello, i have a idea and wanted some feedback please. I have a 71 f250 that needs disc brakes badly. i also have a f250 76 4x4 that has the dual piston calipers and the master cyl and prop valve, both are dana 60 rears so the prop valve should work. will the calpipers be any good if i find the right spindels and other pieces. what about the master cyl and brake booster? i am trying to salvage any usable parts from the 4x4 as passable befor it goes away.

Put the whole 76 front axle under your 72. If the gear ratios are different, use both front and rear from the 76.

the 71 is a 2wd and the 76 is a 4x4. I st wanted to know what bolt on items would work. thanks

I'm not sure but I think he was suggesting you convert your truck to a 4x4. Is the transfer case and suck in good working order from the 76?

that would be great but the stearing parts are missing and the transfercase has been sold from the truck. I just was currious about calipers and other brake components. but i guess this stuff will just get tossed if i cant use them
