Anyone out there know where i can get a repair manual for a '71 f100? I've looked all over online and in bookstore, haynes, chiltons, paperback or cdrom anything?
thanks
david
You can get a CD version at http://www.detroitironis.com/. I bought one of these but was a bit disappointed in it in that it's just a simple scan of the original without any sophisticated search engine or really anything else even moderately nifty. As someone else noted, there are many available on ebay. I bought a whole set (3) for my 67 for about $45 (in real good shape). Just point your browser to www.ebay.com and search for 1967 Ford Truck or whatever.

Before you wander off this web site after getting info about other places for Manuals .Why not have a look at and support THIS web site that has all the information.
DEFINITELY check out 'Ford Haven', the link at the top of the list on the right. There's also a picture link below that same list that will probably be flashing something about manuals and such. The quality will be excellent and the price very reasonable, just like you'd expect from this site. And then you know the money is going to support something that helps you, so you're helping yourself, helping to keep this site FREE, which we all love.
But, if you're like me, and cheaper is the only way, then e-bay would be worth a look. But you might be a little late. I just got a 3 volumn set of 67 Ford Shop Manuals for $26.00, two of three volumns for 69 Ford Shop Manuals also for $26.00 and I got a couple smaller manuals for a couple bucks a piece, one for a 67, one for a 68. But if you can't find them for a much cheaper price than the online store? Then definitely buy here.
yeah, i've bought stuff from the webstore before, but it's kinda hard to put down 49.00 plus shipping for a piece of software when there's no picture or example of what you get, or no idea of the quality (some of those brands of manuals on cd are no better than hand drawn pictures with crayons)
