DTC thrown and no CEL
New Bully Dog triple dog power pup. Installed it today and while playing around I decided to check for any DTC's. I have had my EGR D/C'ed for some time now and I am a non-cali model so no CEL, but the coumpter did detect and log (two) DTC.
P0405 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low
P0407 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit Low
Again no CEL light on dash and the codes were there. Interesting how the computer decides when and when not to trip the CEL light.

I'm sure there can be alot of problems with these motors before the engine light will come on. I had 4 tow trucks come for my 04 and I never saw the cel except for when I turned the key on to start it. Imagine how many people have bad egr's and don't even know it.
