Rain BAD
I have been waiting for decent weather to put the heads back on my 48 flathead. I forgot to close the hood after working on it. Well the rain got int the engine - very depressing. Not much I can do now except wipe out the cylinders, get it running and change the oil.

Sorry to hear that. Heck, we havent had rain out here in so long I'm beginning to think its a myth
Out here you have to worry about things fillingup with sand though...ugh
Wipe it out, dry things off, and oil the heck out of it... chances are it was there for such a short time it didn't do any major help...it should be ok
