stock wheel

I have an 03 PSD 4x4. I am considering adding a procomp lift upsizing tires. My questions are;

1. Is the Pro comp lift of if I am using on street 95% of the time. And how much lift do I need to go to a 35 inch tire?

2. What size tire can i fit on the stock wheel if I do the lift?

3. What is the largest tire I can fit on my stock rim with no lift?

I did a search and got some of the answers. But the only other lift I purchased was a Donahoe for my f250. Very nice but I think more than i need on my Ex.

Thank you for your help in advance.

I can only answer a few of these questions as I'm not too familiar with lifts.

What size tire can i fit on the stock wheel if I do the lift?

305/70/16, I'm not sure but if it's the biggest size, but this is what my neighbor has on his lifted '04 right now.

What is the largest tire I can fit on my stock rim with no lift?

Probably about 285/75/16, but since you have 4wd, you could probably squeeze some 295s on there without a problem.

When I bought my 305-70R16 tires, the tire labels said 16x8 rims minimum. The stock wheels are 16x7.

Also the 285/75/16 call out for a 16x7.5 min sized rim. There are alot of X's out there with them and I planned on getting them for my next set. My tire place will install them without question.

I believe that I will need to have the dealer update the ABS system for the new tire size.

He had those 305s on his stock rims, I remember driving up to look at them and I saw 305/70/16.
