cabin filter

Where is the cabin filter for our trucks located?

unless one has just came out there is none for the superduty. I tried to add it onto my truck after I bought it new (2001)and dealers said that it wasn't availble.

It's a mystery. The guy at the parts counter said it had one so I paid $50 for a filter and can't find where it goes. It's been filtering the air in the bottom of my truck box for 2 yrs.

Excursion has a cabin filter, Superduty does not.

Evidently you won't. I've been searching for the thread I saw a year or two back that showed pictures of it....but unable to find it I went to the service manual and it says there can not be a filter in the system.

Apologies for the misinformation.

Thats odd. I just received an add from a local Ford dealership saying my truck was due for service. They had a coupon for an oil change, air filter, cabin filter, top fluids etc. and I wondered what the cabin filter was! Guess Ford doesn't even know they don't go on the Super Duty. Learn something new on here everyday! Go figure!!!!!
