pinion angle

i am about ready to lower my 68 f100 ranger.... going to notch the rear frame section and flip the rear end on top of the leaf springs and add lowering blocks.... what is the proper pinion angle for the rear end and drive shaft? i don't want to start throwing drive shafts out behind me as i'm cruising down the highway. any information is good information. thanks guys.

Depending on how much you lower it, you don't want to wind up with a zero angle on both u-joints. If you do, the joints will eventually seize, and spit the shaft out when the angle does change going over a bump or loading the truck with any weight.
