I just bought it havent had a full tank through it yet, but i was wondering what everyone else runs for a rpm at 70, i am running close to 2400 rpms in overdrive. i was wondering if this is normal or what everyone else was running at. Thanks
that can't be right... 70 with a 32.8" tall tire with 4.10's and a .72 final gear - you should be cruising @ 2100-2150rpms unless you have 4.56's then your right where you should be.
1999 f250 sd 3.73, auto, long box, sc, 235 tires
65mph at 2050 rpm on cruise, just myself and another 150 lbs
recently 17mpg(american ) or 20.7 canadian, no wind
I have had up to 22 canadian or 18 american on the highway
I have a 2003 F250SD extended cab, short bed, 5.4, 2wd, 3.73, 265/75/16, drive both highway and city everyday and I get 14.5 to 15 mpg, most of the time i have a soft foot but still lay into it every once and a while, have not modifed it yet, but will keep you posted when I do. Hope this helps, Michael
