98' F150 won't down shift
When I'm driving around at city speed, if I try to accelerate the truck just bogs and won't shift down a gear. If you floor it the truck will shift down and accellerate just fine. I thought this was something with the engine but now I'm convinced the tranny needs to be adjusted or something. Has to be floored or throttled realy hard to downshift. If I manual shift the tranny from 1st-2nd-3rd-4th the truck has no bog what-so-ever.
Also when at highway speeds it won't stay in O/D keeps shifting back and fourth from drive to O/D.
Is there any adjustments for downshifting? There is no engine light on and seems to have started this since the tranny was rebuilt last june.
